Preliminary exercise feedback and LR

  1) Type up your teacher's feedback  in full  plus a summary of the comments you received from other students in the class. Some really nice moments in this – I like the jump cuts at the start to introduce the relationship. I wonder if the cuts need to be slightly faster? But the effect really works. The way the song comes in is great but then I’m not sure what is happening with the visuals – it just seems like there’s nothing on screen? One to think about. In general, you need a much wider variety of shots – particularly close-ups. Could you have filmed more through the front windows to create that visual variety? You could also have used the rear view mirror for creative shots etc. Obviously need to fix formatting / export issue but I’m sure that can be done. It’s clearly filmed in landscape and just exported in portrait.
