The British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) is independent, non-governmental and not-for-profit, and has had the responsibility of classifying films since 1912, video tapes and discs since 1985, and more recently, online content.

They rate film by ;solo viewing',TV shows or programs targeted for young children that are currently airing on television can be viewed alone.Teams of two are used to group films intended for cinema release. Teams, which include many teams, view content that is controversial or serious in order to learn a range of views.

Many of the audience werent impressed with the ratings and thought it was wrong as it had a lot of violence,but it wasnt that violent where the rating had to be changed,(12 A).
