Metatextuality is where a text draws attention to the fact that it is a text. It points to the process of its own creation.

Post modernism is a cultural movement that distrusts all establishes philosophies and frequently experiments with the medium its presented with. 

5) How does postmodernism link to media representations and reality?

It blurs the line between reality and fiction.

1) How does the music video for Ghost Town incorporate elements of postmodernism?

The video can be read through a postmodern approach with reference to intertextuality and hybridity.
The music video use bricolage to shoe the old and new things.

2) What film genres are alluded to in the music video for Ghost Town? Which scenes in particular created these links?

Socail realsims and the lighting is very dull and the roads are empty they are in the middle of no-where just to end up on the sea side throwing rocks. The genre is altenative/indie as it starts with instuments at the begging and it has an eerie theme as its dark and there all in a car,going to a place in central at night.

3) How does Old Town Road use postmodern elements in its music video?

That they made Billy Ray cyrus a popular american country singer wear a feminin pink cow boy suit.

4) How does the Old Town Road music video reflect technological convergence and modern digital culture?  

They reffered to new media platroms such as having the little girl show her tiktok dance.

5) What do YOU think Lil Nas X was trying to say about reality and American culture in the music video for Old Town Road? 
I think it was about rasism and cow boy culture and how they ignored the black community even though 25% of the cow boys culture were black.
